Mission Statement:
"The Lakewood Village Economic Development Corporation is dedicated to promoting the general welfare of the Town through quality economic development and quality of life projects"

The Lakewood Village Economic Development Corporation meets quarterly at the Lakewood Village Town Hall. The EDC, in accordance with applicable laws: (a) conducts research into the economic conditions and trends of the Town; (b) makes recommendations to the Town Council regarding action to promote, support and improve economic conditions and development; (c) coordinates, under the guidance of the Town Council, the activities of and cooperation with other bodies organized to promote economic development; and (d) advertises, prepares and distributes information, under the guidance of the Town Council, which will further economic development in Town.
