T-Shirt Design Contest

In celebration of Lakewood Village's 50th Anniversary, the Town is holding a contest for citizens to submit designed artwork for the back of the official commemorative t-shirt. The winning design will be featured on the shirt available as part of the anniversary celebration.

Theme

Lakewood Village 50th Anniversary

Designs are encouraged to reflect Lake Lewisville, oak trees, bluebonnets, native wildlife and the friendly community spirit that makes Lakewood Village special.

Contest Schedule

• Contest Opens: June 15
• Submission Deadline: August 30
• Council Review: September
• Winner Announced: October

Submission Guidelines

• Open to Lakewood Village residents
• Original artwork only
• Suitable for the back of a t-shirt
• Print-ready artwork required: minimum resolution 300 DPI
• Accepted formats: vector files, including AI, EPS, SVG, press-quality PDF, or high-resolution PNG with transparent background
• Artwork size: 12” x 12” or larger
• Limit design to 3 colors
• Official 50th Anniversary logo will appear on the front of the shirt and does not need to be incorporated in the design
• By entering, participants grant the Town permission to reproduce and use the artwork for town-related purposes

Selection Process

All submissions will be presented to the Town Council anonymously. Council members will not know the identity of the artists during judging.

Prize

The winning artist will receive recognition by the Town Council, recognition on Town communication channels, and a complimentary official 50th Anniversary t-shirt.

Anniversary Shirt Sales

The commemorative shirt will be available for online purchase for a limited time following selection of the winning design. Shirts will be sold at cost, and the Town will not make a profit.
