WaterSmart Guide is not a live meter feed. Usage information is typically refreshed overnight, so today’s activity is usually available the next day.

Why do I see water use when no one was home?

Hourly detail can help you check for overnight irrigation, timed devices, leaks, pool autofill, water softeners, or other background uses that are easy to miss day to day.

Why is projected usage different from current billing-period usage?

Current billing-period usage shows what has already been recorded. Projected usage estimates where the period may finish if the recent pace of use continues through a full 30-day cycle.

Why do I need my account number and billing email?

That combination helps protect customer data while keeping access lightweight. You can review your account information without creating a separate online login.

What if my account has more than one meter?

If more than one active meter is tied to the account, WaterSmart Guide will ask you to choose the specific meter before showing trends so the data stays scoped to the right service point.
